We are committed to providing the best possible care for our patients and continually improving our services. As part of this effort, we are conducting a Patient Experience Survey to better understand your needs and experiences.

Why Your Feedback Matters

With the expansion of our online services, we aim to ensure that all patients feel included and find these services useful. Your responses will remain anonymous and confidential, used solely to enhance the quality of our care and accessibility.

What to Expect

The survey will take just 2 minutes to complete and covers topics such as:

  • Your age range
  • Activities you regularly do online
  • How you usually book appointments
  • Your satisfaction with appointment booking processes

Prescription Ordering Direct (POD) Service

 Our New Prescription Ordering Direct (POD) Service!

We’re excited to share the success of our New Prescription Ordering Direct (POD) service, making it easier than ever for you to manage your prescriptions.

Since the launch of POD over 3000 patients have used the service to order over 12,500 medications.

With POD, you can now order your repeat prescriptions online via our webform, without the need for a paper form or phone call.

The service is quick, secure, and convenient, helping you get your medications delivered or ready for collection with minimal hassle. This is available 24 hours a day.

How it works:

Visit our online portal to request your prescription.
Select your preferred pharmacy for collection or delivery.
Collect your prescription from the pharmacy

Important information about the coronavirus (COVID-19)

The NHS across Staffordshire will be better prepared for outbreaks of new infectious diseases, if the public follows Public Health England advice.

The NHS has put in place measures to ensure the safety of patients and staff which may mean your patient experience is subject to change.

The Chief Medical Officer announced on Friday 13 March that the country is moving into the ‘Delay’ stage of the response to coronavirus (Covid-19).

The new advice issued by the Chief Medical Officer is to stay at home for 7 days if you have either:

• a high temperature or

• a new continuous cough

Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or a hospital. You do not need to contact 111 to tell them you're staying at home.

Use the NHS 111 online coronavirus service if:

• you feel you cannot cope with your symptoms at home

• your condition gets worse

• your symptoms do not get better after 7 days

Only call 111 if you cannot get help online.

Everyone is being reminded to follow Public Health England advice to:

• Always carry tissues with you and use them to catch your cough or sneeze. Then bin the tissue, and wash your hands, or use a sanitiser gel.

• Wash your hands often with soap and water, especially after using public transport. Use a sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available.

• Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.

• Avoid close contact with people who are unwell.

Try the new NHS App

If you’re a patient at our practice you can now use the new NHS App, a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services on your smartphone or tablet.

You can use the NHS App to check your symptoms and get instant advice, book appointments, order repeat prescriptions, view your GP medical record and more.

If you already use [insert name of GP online service available at practice] you can continue to use it. You can use the NHS App as well.

Care Navigation - Message from Dr Miles and Dr Valasapalli

We are introducing an initiative to help people to find the most appropriate source of help when they call our practice or pop in to make an appointment.

This means that our specially trained reception staff may ask questions about why appointments are required.

You are not obliged to answer the questions they ask, however by doing so we can make sure that those people who really need to see a GP can see them as soon as possible.

Virtually everyone who calls to make an appointment asks to see a GP, but very often help will be available more quickly from other highly skilled medical professionals such as nurses or pharmacists, or from other services, including the voluntary sector, they can support people with a wide range of social, emotional or practical needs.

Our trained reception staff will be able to offer you the most appropriate help using the range of information they have access to.
